Mariah, Daddio, and I are all going to San Francisco tomorrow. Quite the drive. Ish. What is it? like, six hours? I don’t know. Don’t know at all.

My dad is being really nice about it. He has to drive a lot more than we do, and he’s gotton a nice hotel for us and all that. so thank you if you’re reading this. (you’re not). but anywho.

we are going to vistit two colleges: SF state and Sonoma. We were considering others, but eventually thought against it. We were going to visit UC santa cruz, but it was closed for orientation, also East Bay, but i’ve already been there and i wasn’t…really into that school. (that’s where my good friend victor goes :) so i’m not saying it’s a bad school) and san jose state. it was a weird decision to make, because i do love the san jose area, but it’s seems like too much of a commuter school. and such.

so yep. we’re coming back sunday. it’ll be fun :) blah, except all the chemistry and english i’ve got to do.

college is a weird thing, ultimitly. the logic tells you it’s just a higher education to have a better chance at the job that calls you. but…if feels like so much more than that, to me. it predicts your entire life, maybe not with your major, but with the way you are going to see and feel the world. the way you chose to define yourselves when so many former restrictions are knocked down. the type of people you decide to be with. the people you meet, the friendships that last and the relationships that crumble…they all stay with you, at least in some way. it seems like…your college is a really…weird thing to consider.

goodness. i’m just excited.

Mariah wants me to go to CSU Long Beach…but who knows? I don’t know! …really. i don’t know anything.

well, somebody turn the lights on, because here i goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
